Occasionally the enormity of what we're doing, and how much it will all cost, overwhelms me. I guess to some people it wouldn't seem like such a huge deal, but to me this is pretty much a big deal.

Also, Brett and I have been hiking a lot and we got some small, light packs for hiking that we just realized would be perfect for traipsing around with, especially since we could lock the zippers and stuff. I had been concerned about what to do with my stuff, like wallet, etc. so that I wouldn't be freaking out about thieves all the time and stuff.

this is rapidly becoming real!

We got our tickets to Dublin last week!

Now I'm researching each city on our itinerary and identifying what we already know we want to see and the top two hostels we want to stay in. It's a lot of work, but it will be really helpful when we're there.
